Shiona first came to Hill & Robb in 2003 as a legal secretary and continued working here part-time whilst doing her degree in Psychology then Masters in Forensic Psychology.
She left in 2009 to work with what was then Central Scotland Police as an researcher/analyst but was invited back to H&R in 2012 when our very experienced executry paralegal announced their retirement. Shiona had by then started studying for her LLB and also completed the Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Wills, Trusts & Executries. She worked as an executry paralegal until her traineeship began in 2015 and since being admitted as a Solicitor in 2016 she has dealt largely with private client law, that is, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries, however she also assists with residential conveyancing.
She loves reading, especially Scottish crime fiction. She enjoys a good box set, eating out, socialising with family and friends, and has surprised herself by continuing to run and attending the gym since the office team first began training for the October 10k in 2017.
