Family Solicitor (hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and confident Family Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE to join our expert team. The role has the flexibility to be hybrid, full time or part time. The role includes being able to provide advice on all aspects of family law including financial provision on separation, pre-nuptial agreements, divorce ,residence and contact disputes, and adoption cases. For those keen to further advance and progress their career, we will provide our support for professional development within this area of work.
Key skills/responsibilities
Experience:
- Managing a varied caseload of good quality, privately funded family law matters
- Supporting and collaborating with fellow professionals within the firm
- Providing compassionate and tailored legal advice to clients
- Ensuring cases progress efficiently while maintaining high client care standards
Requirements:
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and empathetic approach to family law matters
- Minimum of 5 years’ PQE in family law
- Experience in conducting civil hearings and proofs
- Ability to supervise and lead junior team members

Private client soliciTOR (HYBRID)
We are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to assist our senior Solicitors in the Private Client Team. The post offers career progression for the suitable candidate and the company offer support for professional development. The role will involve a broad caseload dealing with Wills, Trust and Estate Administration.
Key skills/responsibilities:-
- Taking instructions and drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
- The ability to administer executry estates and trusts, drafting confirmation and IHT forms, executry accounts and general financial administration.
- Manage a high-quality caseload from taking clients’ instructions to distribution of the estate
- Providing support and supervision of Paralegals and Trainees
- The role will involve accurately preparing and drafting documents
- The ability to follow a disciplined schedule to ensure all accounting and tax compliance deadlines are met
Personal specifications:-
- A minimum of 1 year PQE+
- Previous experience working within Private Client department within a Scottish legal Firm is essential for this role as well as a keen interest for this area of law
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in the law and tax regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team and clients
- An enthusiastic approach and the ability to effectively manage time to complete tasks.

Based in the heart of Scotland, we are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join our Private Client Team. You will be involved in a broad caseload dealing with wills, trust and executries.
